Dear Aspiring Author:
Are you ready to author your book?
Do you have an amazing personal story so compelling, or controversial—or even humorous—that people who know even a little about your journey often say you should write a book? Or perhaps you have created a unique entrepreneurial business concept or innovative model so phenomenally successful—even if it was a rocky road getting there—that you now have a sincere desire to share your fantastic experience and impart your accumulated knowledge to others?
I assure you that you will not be surprised when I tell you the main reasons why so many people with a terrific story or idea for a book never get around to writing it. First let me tell you a little something about me.
I am a full time freelance ghostwriter and conceptual-developmental editor. I have ghostwritten books for CEOs and entrepreneurs, innovative thought leaders in 21st Century digital media and technology, MDs and psychologists, Holocaust survivors and Americans who have battled legal injustice right in our own country—even a theoretical biologist and a psychiatric neuroscientist (separate books of course!). I write for people who have great story just aching to be told, and into which I imbue the poignant lessons the authors have learned along the way.
So why do people with utterly fascinating stories or incredible groundbreaking ideas never write their book? The first reason is that it takes an immense amount of time and effort to do it right. Quality book writing is slow work; it takes planning, research, writing, review and editing, polishing the final draft—most of all it takes dedication, fortitude, effort and sometimes a little anguish.
The second reason, to be perfectly honest, is often self-doubt. No matter who tells you, you may not believe you truly have an absorbing or captivating story that others will be interested in. Even if you get past that hurdle, you may not believe you have the talent or skills to tell your story in a profoundly entertaining or educational way, much less the discipline to sit for hours, weeks and months laboriously writing the actual content of the book, chapter by chapter.
The Solution: You author your book—I write it
Yet I believe that because you are reading this you have reached the bursting point and you have finally determined to overcome these obstacles and to get your book written. Let me write it for you. I can transform your personal story or your entrepreneurial corporate odyssey into a fascinating memoir or cutting edge business or technology book that exceeds the editorial and literary standards of excellence for publication by the most reputable publishers, from traditional main stream to today’s growing cadre of innovative specialty or boutique houses.
I look for people who have an all-consuming desire to tell their story in book form, whether in print or in ebook (or both). I delight in working with authors who understand the critical importance of well-written, deeply engrossing prose content, the value of working in a highly collaborative manner with a consummate professional, and who possess the willingness to learn something new. Your story is meaningful and important. Therefore it absolutely deserves to be told properly, and the very process of telling it should be a reassuringly meaningful and fulfilling experience for you as well.
You can do this. Contact me, by phone, email—accost me in the street if you must. But don’t procrastinate for an instant longer. Let’s start writing your book today! I assure you you’re going to enjoy this!

P.S. I’ll let you in on a secret. I have successfully worked with authors who were told by other writers or editors or so-called publishing consultants that their stories weren’t compelling or noteworthy enough, or weren’t “different” enough from similar books that might be in the market. I think that’s nonsense and, in fact, a sign of laziness. The key lies in finding the right angle for presenting your story; it lies in the hard work and due diligence of devising the right conceptual framework and then intensively developing a context of detail that both enriches and promotes your overall theme to create a book that is just extraordinary enough to make your readers simply not want to put it down!
